About the Manufacturer:

Four years ago, Jeff Poore, purchased his first ice vending machine from a company called, "Twice the Ice" (later becoming Ice House America.)  Though he expected the unit to do well, his new automatic ice house generated more income than he could have fathomed! 

However, Poore wasn't satisfied with the construction of the unit; there were too many moving parts--causing a higher rate of breaking and repair.   He began researching how to manufacture his own ice vending machine, and came across Rick Soderman.

Rick Soderman of California was the programmer who developed the bagging system and computer aspects of the Twice the Ice Ice Vending Machine.  However, the original owners sold the Twice the Ice unit to Ice House America, and the new company broke the contract with Rick Soderman to maintain and continue developing the unit.

Together Poore and Soderman improved upon the Ice House America "Twice the Ice" unit and resolved all of the maintenance problems.  Finally they released The Ice Cube, a premium ice vending machine that operates better than the leading competitor's machine.  Upgrades include less moving parts, a water softener to prevent the necessity of monthly scrubbing, and more offsite monitoring features--so an owner of The Ice Cube can work less while generating a high income.
